FAQ Sheets
We are building a library of helpful FAQ sheets. They should help you to understand your own specific needs before we start dealing with all your life, personal and commercial insurance policies. The library will also include information about a number of investment issues.
Individual Savings Accounts (ISA's)
The underlying investments can be packaged unit trusts, investment trusts, a portfolio of stocks and shares, with-profits bonds, bank and building society deposit accounts, money market funds or certain National Savings products.
There are two basic structures to an ISA:
MAXI ISA: This is where you give all your year's investment up to £7000 to a single company to manage for you.
The MINI ISA: Each year you may buy up to three mini-ISA's one in each of the components. You would use this option if you wish to select different companies to manage your investments. You can invest up to £3000 in Stocks and Shares, £3000 in Cash and £1000 in Life Insurance.
