Alan has over forty years of experience in the insurance and
investment brokerage industry and has been based locally for all of
that time. Alan has an in depth knowledge of the requirements of
the people and businesses based in the West Country and uses this
to offer consultancy advice to staff and clients alike.

After starting his career working in the hospitality industry in
London, Robin moved home to Devon to join the family business in
2000 working on the personal lines side for many years. In recent
years he has taken over the Commercial side working on maintaining
good relationships with long term clients and working to build up
the commercial portfolio with many local businesses joining as new
clients. Robin received the Wesinsure young broker of the year
award in 2006, he was also then nominated for the Insurance
Age young Broker of the Year. Robin became a Dad for the
first time this year to baby Jack, the newest member of the Glover
family.

Jayne has worked alongside Alan in the business for nearly 30 years
dealing with a variety of departments from general administration
to the company accounts making sure that the finances of the
company are looked after efficiently.

Sophie worked part time in the business during most of her
education from school to university where she achieved a degree in
English Literature from Royal Holloway University of London. After
2 years working as a property manager for a local holiday cottage
letting agency, Sophie re-joined the family business in 2010 to
assume the role of office manager. Sophie is mainly focused on the
personal lines side and is enjoying developing her management
skills.
